Visyload for worker safety – Video

When the tabs on the Visyload washed bend downwards it indicates the nut or bracing is now load bearing.Visyload is the safest load indicating washer around. The Australian-made washer lets you know, at a glance, the working load limit of a rock bolt, other bolt or threaded anchor.

Every washer is manufactured using heat certified raw materials under a strict ISO9001 accredited quality system. Visyload has been performance tested and accredited in a NATA certified laboratory.

Suspending loads too great for a threaded anchor or rock bolt is a huge OHS risk. Visyload keeps workers safe in the mining, tunnelling, oil & gas, municipal and marine sectors.

NEW! Polyurethane drift rope rollers for mines

Brain Industries coasts drift rope rolers in durable polyurethane

Brain Industries’ new fire resistant and anti-static (FRAS) polyurethane drift rope rollers better protect the main haulage wire ropes on the drift in underground mines and on draglines that use rope haulage pulleys.

Polyurethane coated rollers last longer and offer better abrasion resistance. The polyurethane coating is light weight but strong for improved load bearing capacity. It is durable and doesn’t rust. Polyurethane protects machinery and components from heat, water, oxygen, oil and grease, chemicals, fire and flames, and mould to reduce risk and create a safer workplace.

FRAS polyurethane is essential to meet regulatory and safety standards in underground mines.

Pump hire saves client hundreds of thousands of dollars

Hiring a Brain Airloader pump to empty a 7 million litre flyash dam proved`to be a very smart move for a client – saving them hundreds of thousands of dollars compared to using vacuum trucks and a dredge.

The Airloader easily handled the sludge while pumping the contents over 1200m on a 1:4 gradient. The dam was empty in two weeks.

Hiring rather than buying can be a cost effective measure, particularly if you only need the pump or other industrial equipment for a one off project. Read more about Brain equipment hire.

Parts of Australia have had some rain over the last month.

Brain Airloader pumps and Vac Packs can help you quickly and easily clean up flooded mines, tunnels and other areas. Particulalry if the floodwater is sludge or sand laden.

Our smallest yet powerful Mudskipper pump can easily vacuum and discharge sludges, slurries, and mud with solids up to 60mm. It is great for hard to get to and confined spaces.
