Polyurethane FRAS Bumper Bars for underground mining

FRAS polyurethane replacement parts installed on an underground coal mine shuttle carWe manufacture FRAS polyurethane bumper bars for underground coal machinery such as continuous miners, shuttle cars, multi-bolters, man transporters, feeder breakers and dolly cars.

Our impact-resistant bumper bars provide much longer service life, and are much lighter (up to 40%), than compared to OEM design. They have improved manual handling characteristics compared to market alternatives.

Brain’s bumper bars also improve safety and operating efficiency. They are designed to prevent shock-related injuries to machine operators in the event of minor collision during the loading process between multiple machines. They also aid in preventing unplanned machine shut-downs caused by “tripping” of sensors during minor machine impacts.

Ernest does push up challenge

Our Business Development Manager, Ernest Lapornik, got eight mates together to complete The Push Up Challenge in support of Lifeline.

Ernest pumped out 3,318 push-ups over 25 days last month to raise funds and push for better mental health. 3,318 is the number of Australians who died by suicide in 2019.

He said joining the challenge started as a dare from mates but he signed up because he believes in Lifeline’s life saving work to prevent suicide.
