Brain Industries is encouraging other manufacturers and businesses to join it in getting behind the 2021 Hunter Manufacturing Awards (HMA).
The Newcastle-based industrial equipment manufacturer has renewed as a supporter of the event.
Managing director Gillian Summers said the Hunter, Central Coast and mid North Coast regions of NSW have a strong manufacturing sector.
She said manufacturing provides many local jobs – as well as equipment and supply chain inputs to keep other businesses working productively and safely.
“It is important for manufacturers and other businesses to celebrate the achievements and excellence of the local manufacturing sector,” Ms Summers said.
“We need to support each other to continue to grow local manufacturing and shine a light on its importance to our economy and community,” she said.
