What is the advantage of FRAS rubber for bonded hoses?
Brain Industries uses quality neoprene rubber which is lightweight, durable and water resistant. It is also fire resistant and anti-static (FRAS). FRAS rubber is mandated in underground mines. Our neoprene FRAS rubber is also oil and fuel resistant which is particularly beneficial prolonging the service life of hoses, particularly hydraulic hoses.
