Industrial equipment manufacturer, Brain Industries, has appointed Garry Mott to the new role of Business Development Manager.
Managing Director, Gillian Summers, said the new role will support Brain to further boost the domestic sale and export of its Australian manufactured pneumatic pumps and other materials handling and safety products to the mining, tunnelling, transport, oil & gas, agriculture and marine industries.
Gillian said Garry has more than 30 years of experience. A fitter and turner by trade, Garry has worked as a draftsman, production process engineer, aircraft maintenance engineer, an engineer for a global conveyor supplier, a workshop manager for a materials handling equipment manufacturer and a mining equipment manufacturer. More recently, he has worked in sales for manufacturers of conveyors and other mining equipment.
“This vast and varied trade and technical experience means Garry understands the manufacturing side materials handling equipment as well as the issues and needs of clients, particularly in the mining industry,” Gillian said.
Garry said he is looking forward to helping Brain’s client’s with quality products and genius solutions to their materials handling and safety issues.
